Case Study

Building a brand designed to constantly evolve without losing its identity.

Barebottle is an independent San Francisco brewery known for an ever-changing lineup of beers, each with its own name, story, and personality. Over seven years as Creative Director, I helped shape and evolve the brand across hundreds of individual creative applications.

Packaging became one of the brand’s most visible expressions. Each release offered an opportunity to create something new while still feeling unmistakably Barebottle—resulting in a constantly evolving library of labels, illustrations, typography, and visual ideas.

Beyond the can, my work extended across the broader brand experience, including merchandise, campaigns, digital, taproom graphics, events, and marketing. The result was a flexible visual identity capable of supporting years of experimentation while maintaining a recognizable personality.
